Joe Fay

Joe Fay is one of the country's top thought leaders on finance organization transformations. With more than 25 years
of consulting experience, Joe has deep background in assisting large and middle-market clients improve the effectiveness
and efficiencies of the finance function. To help clients succeed, he develops finance transformation strategies,
using rapid implementation approaches, recognized leading practices, and benchmark performance metrics to produce
measurable improvements. Over the course of his career, Joe has developed and implemented strategies that have reduced
SG&A costs in excess of $2.5 billion.
He's recognized in the marketplace as an expert in developing shared services strategies and process improvements
for Finance. For two years in a row, he won KPMG's prestigious "Consulting All Star" award. Prior to joining,
The Intersect Group, Joe was the Midwest partner-in-charge of finance transformation at KPMG. His career at KPMG and
BearingPoint spanned 11 years. He was on the leadership team of The Hackett Group for six years. Joe started his consulting
career at Bain & Company in Boston in the mid 1980s.
He is married and settled in the metro-west section of Chicago. Currently, Joe is actively involved in preserving
the history of the American automobile, having served on the board of several vintage automobile clubs. Additionally,
Joe is actively involved with preserving and archiving early American radio broadcasting content and history. |
