Wade Hughes
Managing Partner

Wade Hughes is the strategic visionary leading The Intersect Group, as it expands nationally. His goal has been to create a firm that's a different and better business partner to its clients. The underpinning of this goal is the firm's distinct flexible delivery approach that ensures clients get the right solution, at the right time to achieve success. Wade has a solid leadership background, having started his career in public accounting, and then migrated to large financial systems integration consulting, subsequently founding a technology company. He deeply understands the “intersection” of finance, accounting and IT, giving him an unmatched perspective from which to guide the strategic direction of The Intersect Group.

To help clients succeed, Wade draws on client interactions as well as his extensive consulting experience developed during his 22-year career, which includes working as a practice director for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and starting up a revenue and CMS software company. He's a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In addition to leading The Intersect Group's growth, Wade is involved with the community. He's served on the Board of Atlanta Urban Ministries and as a volunteer at Dunwoody United Methodist Church. He also coaches girls softball at Murphey Candler Park. Wade is married and has three children.


Keith Ordan

Keith Ordan
Partner—Staffing

Keith Ordan is a preeminent thought leader on staffing issues, being recognized by companies and consultants as "the staffing resource of choice." To help clients succeed, Keith directs teams that provide highly-qualified finance & accounting, IT, and consulting professionals on a contract or direct-hire basis. His priority is always to ensure that both sides of the transaction are a good fit. He's known for "honesty in all business transactions" and as a "respected leader of people." Keith's 20 year career was honed at companies like Robert Half International Inc. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration. He's married with two young children.

 


David Lee
VP Finance and Administration

David is an enterprising leader with a proven track record for creating efficient shared services organizations with business performance visibility.  With a broad based experience in Finance and Accounting, David seeks to ensure that the underlying processes of the shared services team are in alignment with the goals of our customers and employees.  Before taking on the role of V.P. of Finance and Administration at The Intersect Group, David served as the company’s Corporate Controller.  Prior to joining The Intersect Group team in April 2010, David served as a Region Finance Leader for The Home Depot, Corporate Accounting Manager at ARAMARK and a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen.

David is a CPA and received his MBA from The University of Notre Dame and his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Bucknell University.  David resides in Dunwoody with his wife and family.


Dan Eick
Managing Director - Chicago

Dan is a staffing industry veteran with more than 14 years of senior leadership experience in staffing, managing both accounting and finance and IT staffing and consulting businesses. As managing director of The Intersect Group’s Chicago office, Dan is dedicated to the success of the Chicago team and their clients. Dan began his staffing career as an accounting & finance permanent placement recruiter at Accountants Executive Search (AES) and joined The Intersect Group after more than 8 years at Robert Half International where he most recently served as a Regional Vice President for more than four years. Dan has received a number of awards during his career, these include: Rookie of the Year in 1999, Superstars Award Winner, and President's Club Award Winner.

Dan received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University-Northwest. Dan has both a college-aged son and daughter.


Toby Hughes
Manager, IT Staffing - Dallas

Toby and his IT staffing team pride themselves on succeeding by serving as an extension of their clients and fully understanding a client’s needs to develop strong partnerships. Toby currently serves as manager of IT staffing for The Intersect Group’s Dallas office. During Toby’s more than 13 years of experience selling and delivering IT and technical staffing and consulting services, he has gained invaluable experiences on both the buying and selling sides of staffing. These experiences have allowed Toby to better understand his clients’ needs and concerns. Toby began his technical career as a Network Engineer and then served as an Operations Manager for a Network Integrator.

Toby is a graduate of Southern Crescent College with a degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus as a networking specialist. In addition to his degree, Toby holds multiple technical certifications as Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA A+, CompTIA NET+, Certified Computer Repair Technician and 3M Certified Optics Technician. Today Toby resides in the Dallas areas with his wife Nicole, daughter Reese, and his son Brooks.

 


Ray Wilson, CPA
Managing Director of Staffing - Atlanta

Ray has over 30 years of progressive experience and accomplishments, utilizing financial expertise in systems implementation, planning and analysis, operations planning, administration, financing, treasury, and credit. In his role at The Intersect Group, Ray helps clients succeed by thoroughly understanding the precise resources clients need and being able to match those needs with highly-qualified talent.

A finance and accounting domain expert, Ray's career began in the audit department with the Atlanta office of Touche Ross & Co. (forerunner to Deloitte & Touche LLP). Early in his career, he was singled out by partners to transfer to the tax department as part of a new program to enhance audit and tax department relationships. After being promoted, Ray was again asked by partners to become a charter member of the Enterprise Group, with the goal of bringing audit and tax experience to this new department.

In addition, he spent 19 years as the Corporate Controller for three publicly-traded companies: Engraph, Inc., American Business Products, and AFC Enterprises.

Ray is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Georgia State University with a Masters in Taxation. Ray, a resident of Dunwoody, has been married for 26 years and has 4 children.
