The Intersect Group's Catherine Dixon Appointed to ACG Atlanta Board of Directors

ATLANTANovember 30, 2011—The Intersect Group, a national finance, accounting and information technology consulting and staffing firm, announced today that Catherine Dixon has been named to the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) Atlanta Board of Directors.

Dixon, who has worked with The Intersect Group since March 2008, joins an elite group of Atlanta's business leaders, representing the third largest group in the international ACG organization with 500 members.

The ACG Board of Directors is a volunteer board comprised of representatives of the ACG membership who have been actively involved in ACG Atlanta activities.  The Board of Directors is reponsible for chairing all ACG Atlanta events and committees.  Dixon currently serves on the Programs Committee and will be moderating a panel discussion on December 6, 2011 on how to best perform mergers and acquisitions in the current economic environment.

"It is a great honor to be a part of the ACG Board of Directors among many of Atlanta's best and brightest professionals in M&A and corporate finance," said Dixon.  "Being a part of the board allows me to gain greater knowledge and expertise in my field which I can then transfer to my clients at The Intersect Group."

Dixon, a graduate of the Harvard Business School, is an expert resource in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.  Her relationship-based approach and deep functional knowledge give her a unique perspective with which to serve clients.
