The Intersect Group Expands Consulting Capabilities with Strong Leadership and Deep Experience
Adds Three Proven Practice Directors
ATLANTA—February 28, 2008—The Intersect Group, a premier provider of finance & accounting and information technology services to Atlanta companies, today announced it has added three veteran executives to accelerate its consulting practice. The new practice directors, Deidra DenDanto, Jim Wanserski, and Bill Snoderly, each bring exceptional experience and offer a vast index of expertise that enhances The Intersect Group’s strategic and management capabilities.
In addition to responsibilities directing consulting engagements and/or serving as interim executives, the practice directors are charged with further developing the firm’s core competencies. Among these strategic and operational competencies are: risk management; IT assessment and planning; IT operations outsourcing; corporate governance, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; merger & acquisition due diligence; and others.
The new members of The Intersect Group consulting team possess diverse backgrounds, but share the ability to achieve milestones that produce bottom-line improvement.
Deidra DenDanto has extensive experience in strategic business process design, audit and project management. During her 17-year career, she has served as an invaluable resource for public companies, governments, non-governmental organizations (NGO’s), law firms, and the United Nations seeking to better understand, interpret and assess business intelligence, internal controls, business processes, and technology enablers in an effort to improve productivity, implement business process re-engineering, investigate fraud and misconduct; and comply with today’s stricter financial reporting laws, standards and stakeholder demands.
Jim Wanserski brings more than 25 years of broad experience in consulting, turnaround, performance improvement and financial operations; having served in key management roles ranging from SVP of finance, CFO and COO, to director of internal audit and customer financial services in the technology industry, Big 4 consulting, turnaround consulting, manufacturing and telecom organizations. As a telecom industry expert, Wanserski was recently tapped by the U.S. Department of Justice as advisor to the Trustee for a group of cellular properties. He is also a published author and experienced speaker on “fraud detection and prevention.”
Bill Snoderly has 20 years of experience building and leading IT organizations, support resources and sales teams. His comprehensive management background includes strategic design of division-wide and international operations, organization leadership, risk management and budgeting with a forté in business process improvement initiatives. His track record for successful enterprise-wide implementations of ERP, CRM, CIM, HRIS, and multi-national networks is rivaled by his accomplishments in business process improvement for IT, compliance, security, HR, engineering and finance & accounting.
“The management expertise and professional maturity of these individuals enables The Intersect Group to offer a richer range of highly sought-after consulting services,” said partner Wade Hughes, who heads The Intersect Group’s consulting practice. “The addition of Deidra, Jim, and Bill supported by our project management and consultants brings tremendous value to clients needing proven finance & accounting and IT leadership.”
