What Our Clients Are Saying

“What The Intersect Group promised on the front end is what they delivered. The customer service on the back-end has been very proactive. The Intersect Group has provided the support that would be needed in case there was an issue along the way. So they gave us the sense from the very beginning, if something's not right, we're here to fix it. That’s what makes them different and better.”

The Intersect Group Shows Support of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities Through Annual Lion's Share Challenge Golf Tournament

Event presented by the Greater Atlanta chapters of Alpha Delta Pi

ATLANTADecember 6, 2011— On October 24, 2011, The Intersect Group a national finance, accounting and information technology consulting and staffing firm, along with numerous other corporate sponsors, participated in the 2nd annual Lion's Share Challenge Golf Tournament to benefit the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The event, presented annually by the Alpha Delta Pi Chapters from Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Georgia and Georgia Southern University, and hosted at the Atlanta Country Club, raised more than $75,000 in net total for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities this year.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for the families of seriously ill children who receive extended care at local hospitals.  Today, there are 271 Ronald McDonald Houses in 30 countries, with two locations in Atlanta.  The two locations, one on Peachtree Dunwoody Road and the other on Gatewood Road near Emory University, together serve more than 3,000 families of critically ill and injured children each year.

"So many people came together to make this year's event a huge success.  We had 95 golfers and more than 100 Alpha Delta Pi chapter members who helped with the event through silent auction donations, t-shirt design, setup and working the day of the event," said Sarah Davis, Alpha Delta Pi Collegiate Province Director.  "The numerous hours spent by all volunteers to make this event a success paid off, as we raised $75,000 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  We truly appreciate everyone's time and dedication."

"It is an honor to be able to work with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and give back to the community through the good works of the organization," said Bill Meagher, director of business development at The Intersect Group and a member of the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities committee.  "The families who are helped through the Ronald McDonald House have faced more difficult situations than many of us could even imagine and it is touching to see the organization's work in action."

The 2012 Lion's Share Challenge Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012.
