The Intersect Group Ranks 2nd of Georgia’s Fastest Growing Small Middle-Market Companies

ATLANTA—December 2009—The Intersect Group, a premier provider of finance & accounting and information technology consulting and staffing services to Atlanta companies, has been named one of the fastest growing middle-market companies in the state by Georgia Trend magazine. Specifically, Intersect ranked 2nd among small mid-market companies (annual revenue below $60 million). Founded in 2006 by a team of industry veterans, the firm recorded revenue growth of 520% from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, the company has grown from just three employees at its onset to over 200 today.

This most recent edition represents a joint venture between the magazine and the southeast regional CPA firm Cherry, Bekaert & Holland LLP. Qualifying companies were headquartered in Georgia and had net sales ranging from $20-$500 million. Additionally, selected companies had to meet a strict set of criteria and demonstrate three years of sustained revenue and employment growth.
