Payroll Project Manager Consultant
Our client, a well-known global organization, is currently hiring a Payroll Project Manager Consultant. This Payroll Project Manager Consultant will own a large-scale payroll transformation project that will change the payroll landscape company-wide. This is a fantastic opportunity to help spearhead a highly visible project and work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business. A successful Payroll Project Manager will possess strong leadership skills with the ability to lead people to make decisions and facilitate a different thought process. The ideal Payroll Project Manager will be intellectually curious, open-minded, flexible, collaborative and authentic. Responsibilities of Payroll Project Manager Consultant:
- Work with US payroll and International Assignment payroll teams to assess the existing process and understand the pain points
- Document and audit existing processes using Vision, MS Project or other tools
- Create a project plan for a payroll solution and participate in demonstrations
- Create a payroll solution that is scalable
- Collaborate with payroll teams and Ernst & Young to ensure processes are set up correctly
- Collaborate with key stakeholders at 7 entities and provide leadership with updates pertaining to the project
Requirements for Payroll Project Manager Consultant:
- Strong payroll background at the Senior Manager or Director level
- Project management experience in a payroll environment
- Experience leading and implementing a payroll solution (outsourcing, in-sourcing)
- Experience leading a system implementation
- Technical payroll knowledge and experience (i.e. payroll tax calculations)
- Expat experience
- Experience using Visio, MS Project or a similar product
- PowerPoint and Excel skills
