Pay: $25–$28/hr
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Setting: Hybrid (3–4 days onsite)
Start: February 2026
Duration: 4?month contract (permanent potential)
About the Role
Our client is growing its Shared Services team and seeking an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to support increased transaction volume. This role focuses on timely cash posting, account reconciliation, and resolving payment discrepancies. You’ll partner closely with AR, Billing, and Collections to keep accounts clean and processes efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply daily cash receipts (ACH, wires, lockbox, checks, credit cards) in NetSuite
- Reconcile remittance details and ensure accurate invoice application
- Research unapplied cash, short pays, and payment discrepancies
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues
- Support month?end reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain audit?ready documentation and contribute to process improvements
What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in cash applications
- NetSuite experience required
- Strong understanding of debits/credits and AR processes
- Comfortable working with multiple entities and bank accounts
- Proficient in Excel
- Bonus: experience with Salesforce, subscription billing, or service?based environments
