Position Overview
The Intersect Group is hiring for a Cloud Support Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Cloud Services Provider based in Greenville, SC. This position requires a hybrid schedule, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days/week.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of the client facing support team, performing basic networking and troubleshooting skills to resolve various client issues
  • Provide Excellence Customer Service via phone call, email, messaging, and video call platforms
  • Perform initial contact, troubleshooting, and remote support
  • Support Backups, DR, laas, and other cloud solutions and products
  • Complete various client facing projects as assigned by Engineering Team Lead
  • Perform Onboarding of new cloud customers

 
Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with various cloud technologies/in a cloud hosted environment
  • Excellence Customer Service Skills; Previous experience in a technical client facing role, providing support via phone, email, video call, etc.
  • Basic Troubleshooting and Networking Skills
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop one's technical skillset and knowledge

 
Preferred Skills & Experience:
– Knowledge and/or experience with Veeam, VMware, Zerto, Acronis or similar cloud technologies
