Contract Length: 2 years with potential to go FTE 
Hours: 6am- 6:30pm year round  (8 hours in between)

Work Location: Remote in Boise, ID or Rio Rancho Albuquerque.

  • WFH 99% of time but as needed come onsite if VP is in town, big event, collaboration, etc.

Overview of the Project:
We are looking for a resource to join a very unique team with a great client. The selected resource will be apart of a small/ medium business sales chat team. While this is a sales related role, it is not a customer service position due to the amount of minimal orders. This is more of an inbound leads team with a small amount of post order customer service.

The resource will work through an inbound chat within our clients portal for customers, getting deployment timeframes and generating leads through a CRM to sales team. The leads are referred to our clients sales teams to assist with selling customer products.

Day to Day:

  • Customer and team communication through a chat tool
  • Internal team meetings to talk through updates
  • Typing and using computer

• Gathers and assesses SMB customers hardware, software and technical needs.
• Generates leads to specific departments based on customers’ needs and segments.
• Identifies related future needs for lead generation, opportunity expansion.
• Identifies customer specific parameters and constraints that impact the solution.
• Investigates and optimizes a solution’s fit to the requirements of the customer.
• Identifies probable competition. • Solicits inputs from team members as required.
• Anticipates some of the potential challenges for the proposed solution.
• Assists peers in area of expertise as needed.
• Assists SMB customers in placing orders via chat Affiliate Inside Sales:
• Proactively sells HP products, services, supplies and solutions
• Achieves set quota and goals
• Manage a dedicated que to field consistent inbound calls
• Sells complex, multi- products/services within multiple specialty HP programs
• Nurtures and closes new sales opportunities
• Proactively manage and follow-up on leads
• Focus on new accounts daily to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Actively prospects within accounts to discover or cultivate new sales opportunities
• Aggressively reviews account activities in pursuit of upselling and cross-selling opportunities to promote new business
• Applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities
• High focus on continual growth within designated programs
• Multitasking between multiple internal systems while managing the call/sales flow with the customer
• Using customer relationship management (CRM) tools to catch and record customer details and purchasing history/trends
• Cultivating strategic business relationships with key decisions makers in the purchasing approval process

Required Skills & Technologies:

  • Strong skills typing
  • Experience working on a team and using chat to communicate
  • Strong internet connection/ WiFi– must be hard wired
  • Positive attitude and no job hopping (EX: 4-6 jobs in 2 years)

Nice to Have: Customer service, sales or technology experience, general knowledge of computers, printers, technology as a whole
Number years of experience: 0-10

Education: High school education. 4-year degree nice to have not, required
Certifications: Tech certification, nice to have                                                                            
Industry preferred: Sales or tech background preferred
Team size/ environment: 13 person team of all levels and personalities (recent graduates, technical nerds, etc.) Environment is light and fun (EX: meetings where sales director plays guitar).
