Mid Product Manager-2 Openings
As a Digital Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the delivery landscape across the United States. Your mission is to develop new digital experiences that drive the Last Mile delivery platform, encompassing various components like the Driver app, promotions, rewards, management, delivery optimization, billing, and third-party marketplace integrations. This role is critical to shaping our digital future and driving business growth. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure seamless coordination of resources. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Last Mile, you will also be responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of these experiences.
30% Strategy & Planning:
- Gain deep empathy for the end users and translate their needs into product strategy.
- Communicate product direction and priorities to development teams and third-party partners.
- Establish goals, metrics, and analytics to assess product value and refine the product backlog.
- Stay updated on research and the competitive landscape to recommend optimal solutions and maintain product excellence.
- Balance user needs with business goals, such as increasing sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
50% Delivery & Execution:
- Collaborate with user research and testing teams to formulate, test, and refine assumptions through user research.
- Create, prioritize, and accept user stories and incorporate them into release planning.
- Make daily product decisions that add value.
- Analyze the pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements.
- Lead and participate in various agile development activities, including standups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospectives.
- Translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders.
20% Team & Stakeholder:
- Foster collaboration among team members, including Engineering and UX, to drive value and resolve impediments.
- Promote modern agile development practices and advocate for the end user and stakeholder.
- Continuously assess progress and share lessons learned with the product team.
- Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations to execute the product strategy effectively.
- Provide education to requestors on prioritization based on tangible benefits and user experience.
- Mentor junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis, and execution tasks.
- Participate in learning activities related to modern agile design and development practices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital product management.
- 2-3 years of experience in design thinking, customer empathy, agile/scrum methodologies, etc.
- Preferred experience in developing eCommerce, Last Mile, or Marketplace platforms.
