As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the organization’s global network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will lead critical network projects, integrate newly acquired companies, and implement cutting-edge cloud networking solutions. Your expertise in enterprise networking, security, and project management will be essential in driving the company’s technological growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise-wide network systems, including switching, VPNs, and cloud networking solutions on GCP and AWS.
- Configure, administer, and optimize routers, firewalls, switches, and other IP-based communication equipment.
- Lead network integration efforts for acquired companies, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Oversee network maintenance, system upgrades, and security configurations to uphold network integrity.
- Provide expert-level support for Cisco ISE, including hands-on deployment of NAC 802.1x.
- Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring consistency in global switching and routing protocols.
- Lead multiple technical projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Develop and maintain capacity planning analysis, reports, and documentation to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Network Engineer with DataCenter experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Cisco Nexus 7k, 9k, Catalyst routers, and Meraki.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
- Hands-on experience implementing cloud networking solutions in GCP and AWS.
- Industry certifications preferred: CCNE, CCNA, or CCNP.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite in Carrollton, TX).
