Principal Engineer I

Job Title: Principal Engineer 
Contract Length: 1+ year contract to hire or full time 
Work Location: Englewood. CO 
**Not accepting candidates that require sponsorship at the moment 

Day to Day:

• Writing reports
• Equipment testing and OUDP leakage 
• Testing qualification of outside plant product (anything going in outdoor networks such as nodes, amplifiers, tapes, fiber active cable, connecters, power supplies, enclosure, optical amplifiers, RF amplifiers, etc.) 
• Involved with standard committees
• 1 on 1 every other week 
• Team meeting once per week 

Required Skills & Technologies:

• Familiar with lab environment
• 5+ years of experience with technical documentation
•  Ability to speak with stakeholders and strong business acumen
•  Communications (Aerospace realm) experience highly preferred 
•  Cox, Comcast or high level Field experience within a lab environment is preferred 

Number years of experience: 5+

Nice to Have: Certifications and operations background

Education: Mechanical, Electrical, Physics or similar Engineering Degree and/ or relevant experience                                                                                
Industry preferred: Telecom or cable background

Work Environment: Breakfast and learn every 1st Thursday of the month. One of the engineers does a presentation on a topic whether it is new technology or teaching new members parts of the jobs. They also do teambuilding events once a quarter with 20-25 people. As a company they do BBQs, dinners, lunches, etc.

Salary:  $110-190k
