Job Description: Project Coordinator (Contract)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Coordinator for a long-term contract role. This is an onsite position requiring full-time presence, with a focus on event planning and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing both internal and external events, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of events, including creating detailed event schedules, managing budgets, and generating reports.
- Vendor & Venue Management: Research and book event venues, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring all event elements meet expectations and business goals.
- Coordination & Logistics: Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, staffing, and more, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to coordinate invitees, materials, and event goals.
- Contractor & Supplier Management: Collaborate with teams to coordinate contractors and pricing, ensuring quality service and products.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education:
- AA/AS degree with 6+ years of experience; OR
- BA/BS degree with 4+ years of experience; OR
- MA/MS degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in event planning and logistics.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with both clients and internal teams to align event goals with business objectives.
- Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and provide onsite support.
