Job Description: Role and Access Manager
We are seeking a Role and Access Manager to develop and maintain a robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) framework. This role will collaborate with business leadership and IT teams to ensure scalable, consistent, and auditable access controls. The ideal candidate will focus on role development, permissions management, and system security, with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Role-Permissions Analysis:
Develop and maintain access control policies.
Analyze role requirements based on business functions, regulatory standards, and security needs.
Work with Cybersecurity teams on audits and account discovery.
Role-Permissions Management:
Manage RBAC, including role mining, role remediation, and re-certifications.
Ensure proper onboarding/offboarding processes.
Monitor access to critical systems and perform access audits.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving RBAC processes and efficiencies.
Participate in system configuration changes and ensure alignment with access policies.
Collaboration and Training:
Serve as a liaison for RBAC/IAM issues.
Provide training for role and resource owners on access certification reviews.
Research and Development:
Stay current with Identity and Access Management (IAM) trends and technologies.
Contribute to security awareness initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of experience in business analysis, identity management, or IT audit, with a focus on RBAC in large corporate environments.
Advanced knowledge of identity lifecycle management, Active Directory, Azure, and access management solutions.
Strong communication, analytical, and process development skills.
