Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Apply comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles and auditing procedures to manage financial services and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements for various clients, ensuring all deliverables align with the company's established Client Service Standards.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate key accounting and auditing matters to other engagement team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Establish and maintain direct communication with clients to discuss financial insights, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or questions related to the engagement.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide assurance staff assigned to engagements, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a high level of service quality, especially when designated as the In-Charge.
- Support team members in understanding and adhering to financial regulations and company policies to uphold the integrity of the financial reporting process.
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in the identification of process improvement opportunities within the accounting and auditing functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up to date with evolving accounting regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality assurance services.
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the accounting team.
