Senior Grants Analyst Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Grants Analyst to manage a portfolio of 20-30 grants, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and maintaining strict deadlines. This role requires expertise in grants accounting, particularly with federal grants, and a strong ability to perform reconciliations in both the general ledger and sub-ledger. The ideal candidate will have significant non-profit experience and a deep understanding of federal grants compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 20-30 grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and adherence to deadlines
- Perform detailed reconciliations in the general ledger and sub-ledger to ensure accuracy and alignment with grants
- Maintain compliance with 2 CFR 200 (federal grants regulations), specifically in workforce development grants
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial reporting and support for grants
- Adapt to the evolving nature of grants and stay current with regulatory changes
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in non-profit grants accounting
- Expertise in federal grants accounting, with a focus on 2 CFR 200 compliance
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics and Business Central preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple grants with varying deadlines
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
