Exponential Growth in Dallas Market Rounds Out Successful Second Quarter for The Intersect Group
ATLANTA – July 14, 2014 – The Intersect Group, an Atlanta and Dallas-based technology and finance and accounting national staffing and consulting firm, today reports its Dallas operations finished the second quarter with a 67 percent increase in revenue growth over the first half of last year. The three-year-old office quickly ramped up efforts in the second half of 2013 to grow its leadership in the Dallas-Fort Worth staffing and consulting services markets. Overall, The Intersect Group has already increased its client base by 40 percent in 2014, across multiple practice areas.
“The Dallas-Fort Worth area is primed for growth, particularly in the areas of finance and accounting and IT,” says Amy Reeves, The Intersect Group’s Dallas market director. “The city has a tradition of leading the country in technology, with major tech companies calling the area home. Our services and expertise perfectly match these companies, as well as others needing to grow smartly and quickly.”
According to a report conducted by the Texas Governor’s office, the output of Texas’s IT services industry surged by nearly 26 percent from 2006 to 2011. Growing industries within the Dallas staffing market as it pertains to finance and accounting and technology include retail, financial services, healthcare, oil & gas, manufacturing and software, according to Reeves.
Specifically, The Intersect Group has seen an increase in both contract and permanent staffing in Dallas. Companies are also investing heavily in business intelligence and collaboration technologies in order to optimize revenue and gain operational efficiencies. Through staffing for these positions and delivery of consulting services, The Intersect Group has helped its clients launch several initiatives this year.
“We are ecstatic to have The Intersect Group as a partner bringing expertise in technology and finance and accounting to our company,” says Stephanie Wolff, vice president of finance and administration for SomnoMed, a leading medical device company. “They have been able to meet our needs beyond anyone I have worked with in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”
As part of the company’s growth plans, The Intersect Group has doubled its Dallas office space and are seeking top talent in sales, recruiting and consulting delivery. “Based on the needs expressed by our clients and the success we have had in filling those needs, we are continuing to invest heavily in the Dallas-Fort Worth market,” explains Wade Hughes, CEO of The Intersect Group. “We love this market, and I am positive The Intersect Group will secure its presence as a front runner in the staffing and consulting services industries in Dallas.”
