Accounts Receivable Analyst
Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to optimize accounts receivable processes and manage complex financial portfolios. As an AR Analyst, you will be responsible for managing large, complex accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting business-to-business (B2B) collections. You will prepare and analyze AR aging reports, handle customer inquiries and disputes, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies. In this role, you will improve reporting processes, support compliance initiatives, and contribute to the efficiency of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly AR management package and AR reserve analysis.
- Prepare, format, and analyze AR aging reports, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
- Manage large complex accounts, including warehouse and transportation portfolios.
- Respond to inquiries and disputes in Oracle, providing guidance to internal and external customers.
- Lead B2B collections efforts, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Project-manage issue resolution, coordinating with Customers, Operations, and Business Development teams.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance existing reports, reporting tools, and collection activities.
- Support compliance with SOX requirements, preparing multiple AR management reports.
- Assist with acquisition testing, monthly reporting, and audit-related financial reporting activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AR and B2B collections.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs from scratch.
- Oracle experience is a plus.
- Experience managing $10M+ portfolio sizes in large companies.
- Excellent customer service skills, with strong communication abilities.
- Highly analytical mindset, capable of identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Proficiency in preparing, formatting, and analyzing AR aging reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle systems.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
