Senior Delivery Manager
 
We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join the team of our client known for their customer-centric solutions. As the Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the execution and success of high-impact technology initiatives. You’ll lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, from vision through delivery, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. In this highly visible role, you will guide Agile practices, manage complex dependencies, and remove obstacles to maximize team performance. Your leadership will directly influence product delivery timelines, team scalability, and long-term strategic planning.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex product and project initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are clearly defined and met.
  • Drive Agile/Lean practices, facilitating team ceremonies and enabling continuous improvement in cycle times and throughput.
  • Track and report on development metrics, including planned vs. unplanned work, tech debt, and team velocity to optimize delivery forecasting.
  • Champion change management strategies and communication plans to support key process and product initiatives.
  • Coordinate team dependencies across internal and external groups, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Mentor and manage technical and non-technical team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

 
Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, including leadership in delivering large-scale integrated solutions.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks, including hands-on facilitation of ceremonies and team coaching.
  • Proven success managing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organizational levels.
  • Solid understanding of team dynamics, team building concepts, and change management strategies.
  • Proficient in Agile metrics reporting, resource planning, and portfolio health tracking.
  • Adept at solving complex problems with innovative, cross-departmental solutions.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in a service-oriented, software development environment.
  • Familiarity with full SDLC processes and professional software engineering practices.
