Role Summary
The Intersect Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support a large-scale transformation initiative within the technology finance function. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about building scalable financial processes.
You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on hundreds of technology-driven initiatives, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial infrastructure to support 400+ technology initiatives using internal tools and templates.
- Track initiative-level actuals, KPIs, and milestones; collaborate with initiative owners to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly and ad hoc variance analysis, identifying key trends and performance drivers.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for technology investments.
- Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and reclassifications.
- Consolidate financial data and generate reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor cost savings and investment performance across transformation initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Key Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance (additional experience welcomed).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with variance analysis and forecasting.
- Proficiency with financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, EPBCS, or Essbase.
- Experience supporting technology or transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across teams and with leadership.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
