Business Analyst – ServiceNow & IT Asset Management
We’re looking for a self-driven, execution-focused Business Analyst with deep expertise in ServiceNow and IT Asset Management (ITAM). You’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing ITAM processes, maintaining asset data integrity, and aligning technology solutions with business needs. This role demands strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a passion for operational efficiency and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow & ITAM Operations

  • Administer and enhance ServiceNow ITAM modules: Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and CMDB.
  • Ensure asset data accuracy and integrity through governance and validation practices.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and Procurement to define and improve asset lifecycle processes.
  • Design workflows, reports, and dashboards to support visibility, compliance, and automation.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with inventory, procurement, and discovery tools to streamline asset tracking.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Gather and document business requirements for ITAM and ServiceNow initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend process and system enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and partner with developers and admins.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops, UAT sessions, and change management efforts.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, SOPs, and configuration documentation.
  • Leverage ServiceNow analytics to deliver insights on asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle trends.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs to assess ITAM performance and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Execution & Collaboration

  • Drive initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Procurement to achieve project goals.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and data integrity challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of Business Analyst experience, including 2+ years with ServiceNow.
  • Proven expertise in IT Asset Management and CMDB maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITAM, MS Intune, and related modules.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment

  • Onsite Monday–Thursday; remote on Fridays unless otherwise required.
  • Minimal travel expected (15%).
