Job Description:

The Intersect Group is hiring for a AP Specialist to support our client in the Manufacturing industry, located in Atlanta, GA. This is a contract position, hybrid. Here's your chance to join an expansive manufacturing organization as an AP Specialist.

 Requirements:

• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• 4-6 years of full cycle AP Experience
• Large ERP experience

  Daily Responsibilities: 

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll handle full-cycle AP tasks except for payment runs, focusing on automation and enhancing processes. You'll be involved in the modernization of payment methods by assisting with check preparations and transitioning to ACH transactions. Additionally, you will oversee two-way and three-way invoice matching and facilitate clear communication with plants and vendors for any needed invoice clarifications within a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will have 4-6 years of comprehensive AP experience, ideally within the manufacturing sector, and are adept with large ERP systems, such as JDE. The role requires an open-minded, solution-focused individual with a proactive attitude towards challenges and excellent customer service capabilities. Proficiency in Bottomline or other electronic workflow systems is highly regarded.
