Role Summary

We are seeking a Jr. IT Security & Compliance Analyst to support the development and execution of enterprise-wide security and compliance initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational cybersecurity knowledge and a passion for regulatory frameworks and risk management.

You’ll assist with SOC 2 compliance efforts, monitor system vulnerabilities, and help implement security controls. Your contributions will support audit readiness, policy documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to promote security awareness throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing documentation for SOC 2 audits and supporting SOC 1 compliance requirements

  • Support vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts across systems and endpoints

  • Maintain IT security policies, standards, procedures, and related documentation

  • Monitor compliance dashboards and follow up on outstanding issues

  • Participate in access reviews, asset inventory, and change management controls

  • Collaborate with non-IT teams to promote awareness and ensure adherence to security best practices

Key Requirements

  • Understanding of SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria and reporting framework

  • Familiarity with SOC 1 compliance and audit support processes

  • Knowledge of risk assessments, access controls, and incident response procedures

  • Basic understanding of security tools and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)

  • Strong documentation, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of endpoint protection and vulnerability management

  • Experience with compliance tracking tools or GRC platforms preferred

  • Exposure to cloud security environments (Azure/Entra, AWS) is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for audit support and reporting

  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
