Jr. Business Application Architect
Job Location: Required to sit in Southeast and work EST (100% remote)
About The Role:
The selected candidate will join a significant project focused on integrating a new distribution center (DC) with cutting-edge applications and technologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing application support for enterprise applications such as ERP, SAP, and WMS, including coding, scripting, debugging, maintaining, documenting, and implementing solutions.
- Analyzing and resolving problems with existing systems through monitoring, diagnosing, escalating, and reporting system issues.
- Assessing user reporting requirements and recommending or customizing reports to meet user needs, including creating ad-hoc reports from ERP & WMS systems.
- Assisting with QA functions, including testing and debugging applications.
- Collaborating with IT development, technical & security teams, corporate functional areas, the distribution center, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and compliance with standard operating procedures.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in SQL-based reporting.
- 2+ years of development experience with ERP systems, SAP, and WMS, with a strong preference for experience with Manhattan VMS.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Additional preferred qualifications:
- Experience with PowerBI and/or Sigma.
- Retail/Apparel industry experience.
- Distribution Center experience or knowledge.
