Job Title: MEDITECH Dashboard & Reports Specialist
Location: Remote
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced MEDITECH Dashboard & Reports Specialist to support a client in establishing a gold standard configuration on the MEDITECH Expanse platform. This remote role is ideal for a seasoned MEDITECH SME with deep expertise in report writing, scripting, and dashboard development across all three MEDITECH suites (Magic, Client/Server, and Expanse).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced dashboards and reports using MEDITECH’s NPR and Report Designer (RD) tools.
- Lead scripting and automation efforts to streamline reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with clinical informatics leadership to define and deliver high-impact reporting solutions.
- Support integration efforts including vendor extract creation and cross-platform report development.
- Contribute to the development and mentorship of the internal MEDITECH team.
- Assist in setting up and optimizing gold standard configurations for client environments.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in MEDITECH Magic, Client/Server (CS), 6.x, and Expanse platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in NPR macros, RD rules, and cross-platform report integration.
- Proven ability to lead NPR and RD training classes from beginner to advanced levels.
- Experience managing MEDITECH technical teams and supporting large-scale implementations (e.g., 190+ facility organizations).
- Strong project management skills, including client scoping, statement of work creation, and milestone tracking.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CDS and PHA rule creation/modification.
- SQL and pseudo-code generation for MEDITECH report translation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in multi-module billing applications.
- Ability to self-manage support consoles and handle high-profile reporting projects.
