With a long-standing reputation for innovation, operational excellence, and commitment to safeguarding customer trust, this organization fosters a collaborative culture that values proactive leadership and continuous learning. Their mission centers on delivering seamless, secure service experiences across enterprise, retail, and cloud environments.

As the Network Security Manager, you will lead a seasoned team responsible for protecting enterprise-wide networks through robust security architecture, advanced threat prevention, and policy enforcement. This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise in areas such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and identity management. You’ll engage directly with executive stakeholders, contribute to the organization’s long-term security vision, and play a key role in shaping the evolution of its security infrastructure. This position demands innovation, independent judgment, and the ability to develop and maintain a best-in-class security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical operations and architecture across all core network security domains, including firewalls, VPNs, proxy servers, NAC, AAA, DNS security, and more.
  • Guide threat research, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of compensating controls to reduce attack surfaces.
  • Serve as a primary security liaison to leadership, advising on security initiatives and interdepartmental partnerships.
  • Oversee hiring, training plans, and career development for a high-performing network security team.
  • Manage prioritization of team tasks and projects, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Direct platform testing, third-party risk reviews, and product evaluations for future-state security infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures while tracking performance metrics.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in network security (12 years with a Master’s degree).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Master’s degree (MBA preferred) is a plus.
  • Proven leadership in securing enterprise and hybrid cloud environments, with hands-on experience in firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and access controls.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture design, cross-functional risk mitigation planning, and vendor product evaluations.
  • Professional-level certification in network security (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco CCNP Security, Juniper JNCIP-SEC) preferred.
  • Vendor-neutral certification such as CISSP, CCSP, or similar required.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, evolving threat landscape.
