Operations Director

We are partnered with a Managed Services Provider that is seeking an Operations Director. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and business-minded Operations Director to work closely with the CEO, leading cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of the organization. In this high-impact role, you will own operational delivery, implement performance metrics, and ensure alignment across teams and facilitate strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead company-wide initiatives focused on operational excellence, service delivery, and cross-departmental process improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO—preparing executive briefs, tracking OKRs, running planning cadences, and ensuring leadership priorities turn into results.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and KPIs to monitor service performance, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement by championing change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stand up lightweight governance structures over HR, procurement, and vendor management as needed.
  • Act as a central connector across the business, removing blockers and aligning stakeholders to drive execution.

Key Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of experience in operations, program management, or service delivery—preferably in a tech-enabled services environment or MSP.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional, data-driven initiatives that improved efficiency, service quality, or customer experience.
  • Foundational technical fluency—able to communicate effectively with engineering teams about cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and IT workflows.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, vendor management, and interpreting P&L levers.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and change management skills; comfortable influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using operational metrics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to drive performance and executive visibility.
  • Experience with planning frameworks (OKRs, quarterly/annual planning) and facilitating leadership alignment.
