Position Overview
This senior-level position serves as a technical authority in solving complex workplace technology challenges. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, developing solutions, creating proofs of concept, and guiding the strategy for client computing, collaboration tools, and workplace platforms. Working closely with leadership, this position helps define organizational standards, improve operational excellence, and ensure seamless cross-platform user experiences aligned with enterprise infrastructure and security requirements.
This is a hands-on engineering role that collaborates with teams across the organization to troubleshoot, design, and deliver scalable, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

Identify and prioritize the most critical technology challenges and work across teams to deliver effective short- and long-term solutions.

Partner with leadership to help shape the strategy, roadmap, and long-range goals for workplace technology and client computing.

Serve as a principal technical advisor and subject matter expert across IT, supporting decision-making and mentoring team members.

Participate actively in architecture, infrastructure, and security discussions to align roadmaps and promote cohesive planning.
Operational Excellence & Innovation

Drive continuous improvement through automation, modernization, and enhanced operational processes.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement best practices.

Research, evaluate, and deploy new technologies that improve workplace productivity, collaboration, or user experience.

Ensure workplace systems meet quality, budget, performance, and compliance requirements.
Technical Problem-Solving & Support

Troubleshoot and resolve complex client computing and collaboration-platform issues across Windows, macOS, and other environments.

Collaborate with security teams to ensure user platforms adhere to cybersecurity standards and protect data integrity.

Provide hands-on, expert-level support during incidents, major issues, and cross-platform challenges.

Work with leadership to ensure operational metrics, controls, and standards are met consistently.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

10+ years of progressive experience in workplace technology, end-user computing, or related technical disciplines.

Proven experience managing and evolving enterprise end-user technologies, demonstrating an increasing scope of responsibility.

Strong ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional teamwork.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Hands-on expertise with Windows and macOS environments and troubleshooting methodologies.

Successful completion of background and drug screening.
