Salesforce Engineering Manager

Position Summary
This role oversees Salesforce engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform. The Manager provides technical leadership, ensures adherence to security and development standards, and partners with internal teams to deliver scalable and reliable Salesforce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce development projects
• Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions
• Oversee code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance requirements
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members
• Collaborate with engineering managers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Stay current with Salesforce tools, technologies, and trends
• Support organizational risk management, system integrity, and data protection
• Perform additional responsibilities as required

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum five years of Salesforce development experience, including at least two years in a leadership or technical lead role
• Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and REST or SOAP APIs
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration
• Familiarity with managed packages and third-party Salesforce solutions
• Experience with development tools such as VS Code, SFDX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and analytics tools
• One or more Salesforce certifications
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to pass required background and drug screenings

Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
• Experience with test automation tools
• Experience with UI or UX development within Salesforce Experience Cloud
