Role Summary
The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support both corporate and operational finance functions during a critical period of growth and transformation. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across more than 50 operating centers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with leadership, including the VP and CFO, and serve as a strategic partner to field operations and corporate departments. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to influence decision-making and drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end close processes, including financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Analyze center-level and corporate financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with center managers and department leaders to understand and project financial results.
- Prepare internal and board-level reporting packages, including standard and ad hoc reports.
- Lead recurring workstreams and contribute to one-time strategic projects.
- Develop tools and dashboards to automate reporting and improve data visibility using Excel and Power BI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support the company’s growth initiatives, including new joint ventures.
Key Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and full P&L ownership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and Power BI; experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting and SmartView is highly preferred.
- Experience in corporate FP&A, business analytics, or operational finance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
