Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic, continuous improvement, and transformation initiatives across business and technology teams.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive sponsors and stakeholders to define project objectives and manage expectations.
- Apply agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies to support diverse project needs.
- Monitor project performance, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide mentorship to team members and promote best practices in project execution and communication.
- Facilitate planning, reporting, and governance activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement through situational analysis and creative problem-solving.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on life insurance and annuities.
- 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Experience mentoring teams and promoting project management best practices.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
