Role Summary
The Senior Corporate Accounting Manager will lead global Record-to-Report processes, overseeing monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance for corporate and assigned entities. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and harmonization of accounting practices across domestic and international operations.
You’ll manage a team of 2–3 direct reports, drive process improvements, and partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for corporate and assigned entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, analytics, and cash flow reporting
- Manage accounting for corporate functions including payroll, benefits, treasury, and cost allocations
- Define and maintain global Record-to-Report process standards, policies, and procedures
- Drive process improvement initiatives and system optimization, including OneStream and Blackline platforms
- Ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance across journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and business units on strategic projects and integrations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes while optimizing departmental costs
- Develop, coach, and mentor team members to maximize performance and growth
- Provide audit support and maintain documentation for compliance and reporting needs
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including global exposure
- Public company experience and/or large public accounting firm background
- Proven people management experience (2+ direct reports)
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with process improvement and transformation projects
- Proficiency with large ERP systems and financial software (Oracle preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
