Role Summary

As part of a newly established Investments & Capital Expenditures team within the FP&A function, the Senior FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping how capital investments are evaluated and executed. This is a high-visibility position that supports executive leadership with data-driven insights and financial modeling to guide strategic decision-making.

You’ll be instrumental in building out processes, tools, and reporting frameworks that support capital planning, ROI analysis, and investment prioritization. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial modeling and ROI analysis to support capital investment decisions across the organization.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to enhance the capital expenditure process and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide visibility into capital spend and investment performance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to capital projects and long-term planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, standardization, and automation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate business cases and provide financial insights that influence investment strategy.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and executive reporting to support Finance and Operational leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of a scalable FP&A function as the team continues to grow.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including ROI and capital investment analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (or similar data visualization tools).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Solid understanding of COGS and capital project accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
