The Intersect Group is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is critical to ensuring system availability, security, and performance for access control systems, video surveillance platforms, and IBM iSeries/J.D. Edwards environments.

You’ll work hands-on with technologies like Brivo, Eagle Eye, and IBM iSeries, supporting business continuity, disaster recovery, and system optimization. Key Responsibilities

• Administer Brivo access control platform, including user account management and badge credentialing
• Configure access schedules, exception calendars, and physical security device links across sites
• Generate audit reports and ensure compliance with security policies
• Manage Eagle Eye cloud-based video surveillance system and camera infrastructure
• Process video evidence requests and configure user permissions
• Monitor and maintain video retention policies and storage
• Administer IBM iSeries/JDE environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Execute firmware updates and manage hardware consoles
• Oversee enterprise storage systems (SAN), optimize capacity, and perform upgrades
• Support data replication and disaster recovery across data centers
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and generate performance reports
• Manage backup operations, tape rotation, and offsite storage
• Maintain separation between production and non-production environments
• Coordinate refreshes and recovery testing for development and test systems

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration
• Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) and JDE or similar ERP systems
• Experience with Brivo access control and Eagle Eye video management platforms
• Understanding of SAN/NAS technologies, replication, and disaster recovery procedures
• Proficiency in system monitoring and performance tools
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Customer service mindset and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
• Project management and scripting/automation experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Industry certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator, Security+)
• Experience in multi-site enterprise environments
