Known for delivering customized tax, accounting, and consulting solutions, this firm places high value on integrity, relationship-building, and professional growth. Their mission revolves around listening, serving, and adding value — to clients, employees, and the broader community.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing a variety of tax and accounting projects, mentoring staff, and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned client relationships. You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the firm while supporting strategic initiatives in tax planning and compliance. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional who is motivated by a people-first culture and eager to make a lasting impact on clients and team members alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and review of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (e.g., 1040, 1120, 1065)
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for designated clients, delivering high-quality tax and advisory services
  • Manage staff workflow and provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior team members
  • Assist with firm-wide tax and accounting engagements, including bookkeeping and year-end closings
  • Develop and apply knowledge in tax planning, including estate strategies, where applicable
  • Collaborate with partners and leadership to support overall firm strategy and client delivery
  • Contribute to a positive, solutions-oriented team environment with a strong emphasis on service and collaboration

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
  • 5–10 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on tax preparation and client management
  • Experience managing and reviewing a broad range of tax return types and accounting functions
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on staff development and workflow coordination
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Adaptable, coachable, and motivated by an advisory-first approach to accounting
  • Demonstrated alignment with a service-minded, client-centric workplace culture
